When I lived in Bristol I was surrounded by students on a range of different courses and one of them, who did animation, introduced me to Tokyo Plastic. From purely looking at their website www.tokyoplastic.com it is clear the level of detail, intuition and pride that Sam Lanyon Jones and Drew Cope put into their work. Take away the fact that they have produced some top class advertising campaigns for names such as Toyota, Nokia, Zune and Mitsubishi. Their website alone, won a D&AD Pencil in 2005 for Digital Craft/Design. It is just refreshing to come across a websites that sells the creativity of the designer alone, without the need to be bombarded by commercial work. It allows you, as the audience to meander through at your own leisure to explore all the different interesting ways they have moved you from page to page. It is a fantastic example of how small details go a long way!
